Warranty

Forêt Laurentienne products are handcrafted from natural wood. Each piece is unique and may show natural variations in color, grain, or texture, which are part of the product and are not considered defects. Forêt Laurentienne provides a limited warranty covering manufacturing defects. This warranty does not cover normal wear and tear, natural wood variations, cracks caused by wood movement, or damage resulting from improper use or inadequate care.

Use

Forêt Laurentienne ashtrays are designed for normal, reasonable use and must be used only for their intended purpose. Prolonged exposure to moisture, water, excessive heat, or direct flames may damage the wood and compromise the product’s durability.

Care

To preserve the product’s appearance and longevity, it is recommended to clean it with a dry or slightly damp cloth. Avoid chemical products, abrasives, or harsh detergents. Since wood is a living material, it may evolve over time. Gentle, regular care will help maintain its natural patina and overall integrity.

Warranty exclusions

The warranty does not apply to damage caused by impacts, drops, improper use, prolonged exposure to moisture or heat, or alterations resulting from modifications or repairs performed by the customer or a third party.

Claims

Any warranty-related request must be submitted within a reasonable timeframe after the issue is discovered. The claim must include a clear description of the situation along with photos that allow an assessment of the product’s condition. Forêt Laurentienne reserves the right to review the request and determine the appropriate solution.
