Scope
These terms and conditions apply to all sales made on the Forêt Laurentienne website. Any order placed implies full and unconditional acceptance of these terms.
Products
Products offered by Forêt Laurentienne are handcrafted pieces made in small batches. Each item is unique and may display natural variations in color, grain, or texture inherent to the wood used. Photographs and descriptions on the website are provided for reference only and cannot guarantee a perfect match with the delivered product.
Pricing
Prices displayed on the website are in Canadian dollars. Applicable taxes are added at checkout when required by law. Forêt Laurentienne reserves the right to modify its prices at any time without prior notice, while ensuring that the price in effect at the time of purchase is applied.
Orders
Any order placed on the Forêt Laurentienne website becomes final once confirmed and paid. Forêt Laurentienne reserves the right to refuse or cancel an order in the event of payment issues, suspected fraud, or any exceptional circumstance.
Payment
Payment is due in full at the time of purchase. Payments are securely processed by Stripe Payments Canada, Ltd. Forêt Laurentienne does not store and never has access to customers’ banking or payment information.
Shipping
Orders are shipped to the address provided by the customer at checkout. Delivery times may vary depending on destination and product availability. Forêt Laurentienne cannot be held responsible for delays caused by carriers or circumstances beyond its control.
Transfer of risk
Risk associated with the product transfers to the customer once the package is handed over to the carrier. The customer is responsible for inspecting the package upon delivery and reporting any issues promptly.
Returns and refunds
Due to the handcrafted and often unique nature of the products, returns and exchanges are not accepted except in the case of a proven manufacturing defect or damage upon delivery. Any claim must be submitted within a reasonable timeframe after receipt, with appropriate supporting evidence.
Warranty
Forêt Laurentienne products are covered by a limited warranty against manufacturing defects. This warranty does not cover normal wear and tear, damage caused by misuse, excessive exposure to moisture or heat, or natural variations in the wood.
Liability
Forêt Laurentienne shall not be held liable for indirect damages resulting from the use of the products sold. In all cases, Forêt Laurentienne’s liability is limited to the amount of the order concerned.
Personal data
The collection and processing of personal data carried out in the context of sales are governed by the Privacy Policy of the Forêt Laurentienne website.
Applicable law
These terms and conditions are governed by the laws in force in the Province of Quebec, Canada. Any dispute relating to the interpretation or execution of these terms shall fall under the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Quebec.
